Education, Values and Crime

I have been pondering this for a long time, and after watching the second presidential debate last night I feel now is the time to work out this thought.

Obama feels a ban on guns will help the crime in Chicago, I don't see the logic.

What makes crime, robbery, rape, muggings, drugs, car jacking.. you get the idea. Who does the crimes, people with no money, lots of time, no education, no morals, no sense of community.

Look at areas with low crime rates, people work together, families are strong, work ethics, education is valued, strong sense of community.

Now I am Mayor of (any town USA) what would I do?

Start to clean up the areas that are heavy in crime, start with a small corner, make it spotless, encourage community events, concerts but keep it clean and orderly.

Schools, pound the basics in, Reading, Writing and Math. Teach the kids what it is like to live in a well functioning community. Require modest clothing.. not a uniform, but come on we are here to learn, not party.

Teach the Constitution, teach how this country became what it is. If a teacher starts to drift from curriculum.. warning.. after that, go find a job elsewhere.

Teach religion, you don't have to endorse it.. but it is not taboo. It is part of America, part of peoples lives, part of history! Evolution is a religion!

Teach pride in oneself, hold your head high! You are an American Child, born in one of the greatest countries of the world. Do something with yourself. All teachers should be cheerleaders for their students.

Teach a child to LEARN! Not pass a test, Teach a child to Think! Why do we do, what we do?

Guns... guns are tools, just like a knife, a wrench, a screwdriver.. you can use it for good or bad. Take away the taboo of guns, teach the value of people, the value of life! Guns made this country free, they keep this country free.

Every American should take a shooting class at sometime in their lives. Required! Learn the basics, just like driving class, we would have a shooting class. How many kids would cut that class?

Stop teaching sex education, and teach basic nutrition, how to stay clean, and healthy. How NOT to get pregnant. 

America used to have pride.. we have lost it, go back to the basics, we ARE AMERICANS, we can do better!

Protecting the constitutional principles of the separation of church and state.

The United States of America is the Land of the Free, we have no set government religion, but our people come from all different religions. Everyone as long as you do it in a peaceful manner, without bloodshed, or sexual perversion is free to worship.

The government is made of of the people, we celebrate our freedoms, we place things that remind us of our freedoms in our parks, on our hillsides. We HAVE the freedom of our religion.

For my symbol to offend someone is crazy. They should look at it and pray that they are not forced to look at a swastika or star and cycle. I like many others fought for this country. I pledged to defend the constitution, to defend our freedoms, foreign and domestic. .

The President, the United States Congress, and the Supreme court have NO RIGHT to take away our freedom.  This is not a country void of religion, this is a country RICH in religion. Being an American, is something to be proud of. People die to become Americans. Our Founding Fathers fought for our rights to be American. And for our three branches to twist wording, interpret writings, whatever to allow people to rip our heritage out of the ground, are not Americans. It is Treason!
Our Government is based on the Constitution, to speak bad about it, to want to get rid of it.. is an act of Treason. It is the United States of America. It is our foundation.

If you do not like our Constitution you need to start looking at some other countries to live in, or just be quiet.

Our Constitution is what give the Three branches their power. No Constitution, no power. No Country.

Freedom from religion...

How can you be free from beliefs? They say they believe in science, facts.. o.k. you have a religion, science.

Offended by symbols of other peoples religion... get a spine people. The sun is a religious symbol, the moon.. do they make you “uncomfortable”.  Water, cleansing water... light vs dark, better look out you offended people.

America is Freedom “OF” religion, freedom to worship, without harassment. If joe wants to face east 5 times a day and pray.. he is free to. 

Now if he tries to cleanse the world of infidels we have another problem, including you vacuum religious people. He would want to kill you also. 

This country has so many Christian symbols ingrained into our society because it is part of society.  People of MANY religions make up America!

“Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand."

Can the United States of America pull it's self together, or is this a prophecy of our future? Have we lost our vision?

We are a country "based" on a Christian foundation but we have freedom of beliefs. It does not mean our foundation has to be ripped out from under us. It does not mean we have to take "God" out of our foundation.
Christianity, is like the rock in the concrete, steel re-bar in the foundation.

You don't have to be a "Christian" to be "American", but if you are "American" learn the foundation, learn the freedoms it give you.. we can not have an "America" that is based on the freedom of evolution.

Or better yet here is an example of what it would look like... we will take the second line of our Declaration of Independence and remove the Christian God from it.. let me know what you think if this would work?

We hold these theories to be self-evident, that all humans evolved equal, that they are endowed by pure chance with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Our current Declaration of Independence,

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

STOP the madness and the wasted energy and time we use fighting among ourselves. Learn our foundation, learn why America has become what it is, or was. Stop trying to change this country we all enjoy and love, and learn how to use the freedom you have to improve and grow.
It does not matter if you are white, black, green or orange... you have the freedom and power to do what you want.
But do NOT be offended by the foundation you are building upon, it is a firm, foundation built on a strong belief in the Created Man. Who has the rights to believe they were created or just happened.

Learn what it means to be an "American", independent, strong and free. WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER.
